In this blog I will work on the material about narrative text given by my teacher

The following are the tasks I do

Practice 1:

The characters

Who are they? 

: their names is sura and baya

What are they like?

: sura is a shark an baya is a crocodille

 What words can use to describe them?

: they want to keep all things for themselves. In other word, they were greedy

The title 

What is the name of the story?

: the origin of surabaya

The setting

 Where will the story begin?

: a long time ago in east java

The action

What happens in the story as a result of the problem?

: sura and baya fought against each other and make a mess everywhere

The problem

What happens to the main character or among the animals?

: sura take the sea as his teritory and baya take the land as his teritory

The moral

What lesson do you want to teach?

: we as friends should be able to understand and help each other

Practice 2:

Question:

1. Write the characters of the story, what are they like?

2. Do you think that they are best friends?

3. Where is the story taken place?

4. What was their agreement?

5. Did one of them feel satisfied? Why?

6. What was the ending of the story?

Answer:

1.) Sura as a shark and baya as a crocodile. Both of them are enemy because both of them always fight for their " Food Land "

2.) Absolutely no, but after I saw the ending, I think I'm gonna change my mind.

3.) They have to live in their habitat and separate their territory.

4.) Baya was very happy, because he beat Sura back to the sea, and he got his territory back.

5.) The ending, the place where they fought before, people named it. It called Surabaya, from Sura the Shark and Baya the Crocodile.

Answer:

1. The legend of hanging stone at lake toba

2. Husband and wife(Seruni parents), Seruni(The one who wanted to jump), Toki(Pet dog)

3. North sumatera

Seruni wanted to jump with toki the pet dog.

5. Seruni get stuck and ended hang on the cliff on the shores of lake toba.
